"Red Dead Redemption 2" apparently had quite the hype so far since its announcement, with fans being treated to hints here and there. That being said, Amazon is one that has not turned back on taking part in the pandemonium.

Fans of the original "Red Dead Redemption" title have waited for the announcement of "Red Dead Redemption 2" for the longest time. Now that it has been confirmed, other details have emerged especially regarding the price and platforms for the said title.

Recent Amazon postings confirmed that "Red Dead Redemption 2" will be discounted if pre-ordered from the said retail site, guaranteeing that those who chose to do so will a locked price drop. This is not the only intriguing news for the sequel, as the game is speculated to come out for the hardware other than the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Past reports claim that "Red Dead Redemption 2" could be launched to the Nintendo Switch and the PC, after multiple petitions for it to happen. Garnering thousands of votes in polls for such to transpire, it is not impossible for the said change to happen-given the untarnished popularity that the original still carries today. It was also thought that "Red Dead Redemption 2" will harvest instant millions as soon as it comes forth, as the other Rockstar Games predecessors did consistently. So far, the talk on sequels and continuities has put the developer on the hot seat, especially with the relative title "GTA 6" yet to surface.

"Red Dead Redemption 2" is still yet to reveal more details about itself, as the most known detail so far is that the title will come out by fall of next year.
