The hit DC animated series has been confirmed for "Young Justice" Season 3, and our beloved characters will be returning. Along with this, the fate of Wally West, aka Kid Flash, will be revealed next season.
Production Begins
According to a report, the production of "Young Justice" Season 3 has already been confirmed to have started. The upcoming season will then be streamed through Netflix. However, there has been no official word regarding the home network that will air the show as of yet.
The first two seasons of "Young Justice" was aired on Cartoon Network. The animated show was cancelled after the second season due to funding issues. Fans are delighted though, as it has been confirmed for "Young Justice" Season 3 even if there is still no home network.
A report has also stated that "Young Justice" was very much well received due to the development of characters and their portrayal on the show. The show received quite a huge following, which resulted in a public clamor when the animated series was cancelled. This time around, Warner Brothers Animation has assured the fans of the show that "Young Justice" Season 3 will indeed happen. Sam Register, the President of Warner Brothers Animation and Warner Digital Series, had stated that the production team is delighted to have the show return for the fans.
Kid Flash Returns?
Some of the reports have stated that the ultimate fate of Wally West, also known as Kid Flash, will be determined in "Young Justice" Season 3. Fans could recall that in Season 2, he sacrificed his life to save everybody. While this conclusion might come with a degree of a finality, the speedster might still return in the upcoming season.
Besides Wally's fate, "Young Justice" Season 3 will also attempt to answer many questions, loopholes, and unresolved plotlines in the series. The original characters are also set to return for the upcoming season. With this, new DC superheroes should be expected to appear on the show.
"Young Justice" Season 3 is yet to receive a final release date and home network. However, fans are just elated right now to know that production has begun and "Young Justice" Season 3 is actually happening.
