'Final Fantasy 15' News & Updates: Does The Adamantoise Boss Fight Take 72 Hours?

"Final Fantasy 15" had just come out, and while it might be highly unlikely that people find all of the secrets it has to give up immediately, there are already rumors coming out surrounding the game. It'll only be a matter of time until players find out the truth about all the rumors and urban legends in the game, but for now, people already know that some things aren't true. This rumor is but one of the things debunked by hardcore players of the game.

For example, there's this "Final Fantasy 15" rumor going around about how the difficult battle with the Adamantoise, a post-game battle that happens after the main storyline is completed, takes a whopping 72 hours to finish. The rumor started on an episode of Conan O'Brien's late night talk show in which he played through the game, and his manager informed him that this particular boss fight took days. "Final Fantasy 15" director Hajime Tabata, on the other hand, said that the fight would last closer to 15 hours, according to Game Rant.

YouTube gamer PowerPyx, however, proves that both accounts aren't exactly true. While it's still possible for a "Final Fantasy 15" player to spend that much time trying to defeat the Adamantoise depending on their party's level, PowerPyx was able to defeat the boss in 50 minutes. It took them a level 69 character and some extensive knowledge and skill at casting buffs and pulling off combos to beat Adamantoise. Completing the boss battle rewards the player a trophy, 50,000 gil, and an Adamantite Bangle.

Now once you defeat the Adamantoise, there's another difficult post-game dungeon in "Final Fantasy 15" that players should go through. Finishing that dungeon gives you a lot of rare items, as most post-game content does, and treats you to a very nice bit of world-building in the game.
