Exclusive pre-order goodies for DriveClub unveiled [Trailer]

We have more details for the PlayStation 4 exclusive DriveClub, all related to the exclusive pre-order content that players and fans are entitled to receive with the first copy of the game.

Fans will get to choose from as many as three exclusive packs depending on which store they pre-order the game from. Each pack includes an exclusive insignia design, instant access to a powerful supercar and also a boost of fame to increase the player’s driver level in the game. Here's the break down:

* Buyers who pre-order the PlayStation 4-exclusvie game from Amazon will receive a Mercedes SLS AMG Coupe Black Series Pack and RUF RT12 R Pack.
* GameStop's offer features the Special McLaren 12C Pack.
* Sony's own store is offering the RUF R12 R Pack.

All buyers will also be offered a free three-month trial subscription to PlayStation Plus.

There is also a Driveclub PlayStation Plus Edition that is being offered within the Instant Game Collection and doesn’t need fans to pre-order the game. The Plus Edition, according to the official PlayStation Blog, “gives you an exciting selection of cars across all 5 classes, beautiful locations and exciting race tracks featured that you can play in all game modes, but does not include all Driveclub content unless you upgrade.”

For others who play the Driveclub PlayStation Plus Edition, and also to extend their experience and get access to all the available cars, locations, challenges, events and seasons that the game has to offer, “you can buy an upgrade to the full game – or just buy individual items as you go along. If you do decide to upgrade, everything you’ve earned so far will be carried over. Note that Driveclub PlayStation Plus Edition (and any upgrades) is only available for use during the period of your PlayStation Plus membership.”

DriveClub is basically centered on building an interconnected community of a number of clubs and racers, combined with interesting and new challenges. The way players get into the game also plays a large part in their experience. There will be immediate access to a huge variety of cars and racetracks, with players also having the opportunity to create and share their own challenges and achievements.

DriveClub is currently set to arrive as a PlayStation 4 exclusive on Nov. 15 for North America and Nov. 29 for Europe. Check out the pre-order trailers below.
