In the conversation Elliot was asked about his opinion on what makes the society disappointing, the antagonist answered that the recent Presidential Election does. According to a source, the presidential election will be covered on "Mr. Robot" Season 3 but not that much. Other recent happening and news would also make its way into the movie giving it a more reality based outlook for the viewers.
On an interview done by Entertainment weekly, Sam Esmail shared that one story plot that would be covered on "Mr. Robot" Season 3 would be answering a couple of questions: "What happened to Angela? Has she really been flipped? Or is she now playing some other motivation?" he was quoted saying. Another angle that would be covered on Season 3 would be what would happen to Leon and Coda as well as Mobley and Trenton. Also, a worthy note to wonder would be Elliot's reaction to Darlene and Dom's relationship. "Mr. Robot" Season 3 would be about Elliot's disintegration according to reports.

"Mr. Robot" garnered a star rating of 8.7 stars out of 10 in IMDb with 192,710 correspondence. This is actually still pretty high since the show's rating has dropped from 0.48 on for Season 1 to 0.30 in Season 2.
