As the finale of "Westworld" Season 1 fast approaches, stars of the hit HBO drama series teased some spoilers for what the conclusion of the season will present. With ongoing mysteries waiting to be answered, fans are curious to know more about what lies ahead, especially for Maeve and Bernard.

Maeve's Storyline in "Westworld" Season 1 Causes Conflict

One of the past episodes of "Westworld" Season 1 titled "Trace Decay" showed a pivotal event in Maeve's storyline. After learning more about what really takes place in Westworld, Maeve, played by Thandie Newton, was able to attempt her escape. With that, spoilers for the upcoming episode caused a lot of excitement as to how "Westworld" Season 1 finale titled "The Bicameral Mind" will progress her story.

Fortunately, Ptolemy Slocum, who plays the role of Sylvester, and Leonardo Nam, who plays the role of Felix, was able to share some insight about Maeve's storyline. Nam revealed that his character is somewhat conflicted because he sees the hosts as living creatures, as opposed to Sylvester, who believes that they are just complicated gadgets. According to spoilers, that difference in opinion is something that is expected to be explored deeper in the "Westworld" Season 1 finale titled "The Bicameral Mind."

HBO Stars of "Westworld" Talk About Show's Themes 

Aside from spoilers, Slocum and Nam explained in an interview The Hollywood Reporter that the idea of survival also plays a big role in the episodes of "Westworld" Season 1. "When you see these hosts wake up, you know what they're capable of, especially as a technician. When you're not in control of them waking up and going to sleep, and you realize that something else is going on, it's just a pure machine coming at you. That, on one end, is pure survival. On the other hand, it's something that's kind of amazing and magical to watch," Nam explained.

Newton Teases Spoilers For "Westworld" Season 1 Finale 

Reported by Daily Beast, the upcoming "Westworld" Season 1 finale titled "The Bicameral Mind" is said to explore more existentialist questions that will challenge the concept of humanity and how far an individual's morality is pushed. Newton was able to tease some spoilers about what the finale will show regarding her character Maeve. Newton hinted that people viewers get to know more about Maeve's journey.

With all these spoilers, fans are expecting some epic happenings in the finale of the hit HBO series. "Westworld" Season 1 finale "The Bicameral Mind" will air on HBO Sunday, Dec. 4 at 9 p.m. EDT.
