Dakin Matthews is believed to make an official exit from the series in "Madam Secretary" Season 3. Rumor has it that the 76-year old American actor is slated to be killed off in the series. CBS is yet to confirm the rumors surrounding the death of American Ambassador Roy Curtis, according to report.
Furthermore, CBS has also released the "Madam Secretary" Season 3 Episode 9 "Snap Back" preview. Additionally, the official plot description for "Madam Secretary" Season 3 was also revealed. Apparently, the U.N. Security Council is reportedly contemplating on reinstating sanctions against Iran for suspected nuclear activities.
In "Madam Secretary" Season 3, Tea Leoni's Elizabeth McCord is designated to stop Israel from moving on its own as the country breathed threats of military action against Iran. Henry McCord (Tim Daly) is also said to be pressured by Russell Jackson (Zeljko Ivanek) to woo Congressman Jeff Pearson (Michael Cerveris) to support President Conrad Dalton (Keith Carradine) in the House election vote. Note that Henry and Congressman Pearson have previously been in the Air Force.
In other news, "Madam Secretary" Season 3 is also slated to see a prolonged presidential race. Russell Jackson has been noted for his obsession over the election which is said to be cliché.
