The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 was one of the most highly anticipated devices of the year. However, disappointed fans due to the device's absence in Microsoft's event earlier this year are still hoping that the long wait would be worth it.

When the Microsoft Surface Pro was introduced in 2013, the technology industry was shaken by the tremendous capabilities of the device. Fast forward to today, and the latest Surface Pro 4 had been a year old already, so fans are now clamoring for the Microsoft Surface Pro 5.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is geared to pack 512GB of SSD internal storage. There would also be the powerful Intel i7 processor in the latest Kaby Lake version. Coupled with at least 16GB of RAM, then the Surface Pro 5 is surely a technological powerhouse difficult to compete with.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will also reportedly come with a better battery life. This is due to the main criticism of its predecessor being the inefficient use of battery, so draining was a problem. This would not be a problem for the Surface Pro 5, as the technology had been vastly improved.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will also come with a sharper screen at either 2K or 4K resolution and a much sharper contrast. High speed USB Type-C ports would also be included, as well as Thunderbolt 3 as an interface. The 3.5mm headphone jack would not be going anywhere too.

With every Surface Pro comes the Surface Pen, and the one included with the Surface Pro 5 would pack an innovative technology. The improved Surface Pen would be able to wireless charge from its magnetic dock, or even when just attached to the side of the Microsoft Surface Pro 5.

There would also be a new fingerprint scanning technology through the PixelSense display. This Microsoft Surface Pro 5 feature would truly revolutionize the industry, giving rise to a new layer of security.

With these ridiculously powerful specs, amazing features, and a premium build quality, the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 would be a huge steal. Coupled with the predicted $899 price tag, then fans should definitely get excited for the speculated February 2017 release date.
