Many gadgets reviews and comparison ware conducted and posted through the internet. Some are biased, but many are based on the actual details of respective gadgets. One review and comparison was conducted between Razer Blade and MacBook Pro, saying the latter is a lesser option.

Design is the face of the laptop. Comparing the two, Razor Blade owned a slim win, at 4.25 pounds and 13.6 x 9.3 x 0.7 inches, compared with the MacBook Pro's 4.49-pound, 14.1 x 9.7 x 0.71-inch chassis. In ports, Razor has 3 USB ports and an HDMI port, while Mac has 2 USB ports, HDMI port, a pair of Thunderbolt port and an SDXC card slot. Mac has more ports, but Razer has more USB ports which users preferred. The Mac Book has 15-inch Retina display (2560 x 1600) with bright colors and sharp detail. Razer Blade is boasting 14-inch QHD+ (3200 x 1800) touchscreen panel.

The performance of a laptop can be based on its processor. Razer Blade has 6th-gen Intel Core i7 processor and 16GB RAM and MacBook Pro has 4th-generation Intel Core i7 processor with 16GB RAM. Though Mac has older processor, in a test shown in Laptop Mag, it was performed better than the Razer.

The graphics are very important when it comes to gaming. MacBook Pro's AMD Radeon R9 M370X GPU with 2GB of VRAM notched 40 frames per second at its native resolution of 2880 x 1800 on low. The Blade's Nvidia GeForce GTX 970M with 6GB of VRAM ran circles around playing at a steady 163 fps at 3200 x 1800.

When it comes to battery life, the MacBook Pro reigns, it lasted 9 hours and 8 minutes on battery test. In contrast, the Blade tapped out 5 hours and 42 minutes, which is respectable for a gaming laptop but nowhere near Apple's notebook.

Both laptops have a starting price of $1,999 and increases when you double the storage to 512GB for both laptops. The Razer Blade's price rises to $2,199 while the MacBook's price leaps to $2,499.
