"Logan," also known as the "Wolverine" is a mutant that has a power of healing factor and bone claws. His bone was enhance by the weapon X program with adamantium, one of the strongest steel in the marvel world. "Logan" the upcoming film is set to release on March 3, 2017 that will be directed by James Mangold.
The story of the upcoming film "Logan" takes inspiration from the comics Old Man "Logan" which sets in a post apocalyptic future. The story of Old Man "Logan" is very tragic. A lot of Marvel heroes dies, and the past of "Logan" is very sad.
Mysterio, a villain and one of the enemy of Spider-man, made an illusion that make all X-Men an enemy to wolverine or "Logan". He Killed them one by one not knowing that they are his teammates, the "X-Men." Then after the illusion vanished, he realized that he Killed all of his teammates.
After this event, "Logan" tried committing suicide, but failed due to his healing factor. He promised to himself that he will stop being Wolverine and he will never retract his claws again. After 50 years, the story of Old Man "Logan" started.
"Logan" has a family in this story, they are living in the territory of "The Hulk" called Hulk land. One day, a Hulk gang, grandchildren of Bruce Banner or The Hulk, went to their home to get "Logan's" rent money.
The story revealed that "Logan" will accept the job from Clint Barton or Hawkeye to deliver a secret package but they were set up by the Red Skull and Hawkeye was killed. "Logan" manage to escape but not after killing the Red Skull. Once he reached his home, he saw the body of his family, killed and lying on the floor.
There are things in the "Logan" film trailer that show us like a reference to the comic book. Like when it mentioned that a lot of Marvel heroes died, this could mean all of the X-men died in the film. Wolverine can be seen travelling on his truck together with Professor X instead of Hawkeye.
And in the movie, he will be together with a child name Laura Kinney that could possibly X-23, this is a reference of the last part of the comics where "Logan" or Wolverine takes Bruce Banner Jr for an adventure. For now, we will need to wait for more updates to come from this possible tragic and sad film.
