The latest episode of "Lucifer" Season 2 had revealed a lot about Chloe's past. Consequently, this eventually changed the plans of Charlotte for Lucifer's human friend. Now that the show is on midseason break, reports have stated that four upcoming episodes in "Lucifer" Season 2 would be standalone.

Chloe and Lucifer's Connection

"Lucifer" Season 2 became a lot more interesting when Chloe is revealed to Charlotte as a gift from God. Mama Morningstar then changes her plan of attack now that she knows Chloe is not just a human, but a miracle. Amenadiel had then warned his mother that they should now be cautious, but Charlotte was still adamant, as she still believes that Amenadiel's father started all of this.

Lucifer then realizes that Chloe is more than just a mere fascination. The real reason of his stay on earth is actually Chloe, and he will now do everything to ensure her safety. The "Lucifer" Season 2 Episode 11 preview shows Chloe having a nosebleed. Earlier spoilers have suggested that someone Lucifer cares about will be passing away in episodes 12 and 13 of the show, with a neurosurgeon stepping in. The spoiler may imply that "Lucifer" Season 2 will see the death of Chloe.

Upcoming Standalone Episodes

The newly released winter spoilers have revealed that the final four episodes of "Lucifer" Season 2 would be standalone. However, there have been no confirmation as of yet if these episodes would be spinoffs, side stories, or prequels. For sure though, at least one of these episodes would definitely feature how Lucifer got into Los Angeles.

"Lucifer" began with the titular character already in the city, owning a high-end club. This then shrouds in mystery how the man got into L.A. Another potential subject of a standalone episode is how Amenadiel carried out God's plan to help a struggling couple to conceive Chloe. These details should be taken with a grain of salt though as no official word has been out yet. "Lucifer" Season 2 will return on air on Monday, January 16 at 9PM on Fox.
