According to a report from POPSUGAR, the "Outlander" season 3 stars have to film their scenes away from each other and Sam Heughan stated that he missed working with Caitriona Balfe. The two are not dating in real life, but Heughan admitted that he is very close to the beautiful actress.
"Caitriona and I get on very well," Heughan unveiled, "and I am very lucky. She is extremely talented and an extremely nice person, and we have a lot of fun." Perhaps, being friends with each other have made it easier for Heughan and Balfe to act like a couple on set. "Actually, having scenes away from her, and time apart from her, is kind of like losing someone in your family," Heughan said in the interview. "A loved one. It is very strange, and I do not enjoy it. Whenever we are together it feels right, and I look forward to the days when we get to work together again."
Several fans have been hoping that Heughan and Balfe would end up dating each other in real life. However, they already apologized in the past saying they could only be friends withe each other at this moment.
In the meantime, Heughan and Balfe are reportedly having more intimate scenes in the next season. According to Gack Hollywood, the two stars are willing to do more intimate scenes in the upcoming series, since fans have been asking for it. They believed that the fans wanted more from their on-screen relationship from season 2, since the last season was more on politics.
The report also claimed that Heughan's Jamie and Balfe's Claire will be reuniting in the upcoming season. The reunion of their characters will be shocking and surprising at the same time, since Jamie and Claire thought they were both dead.
