It looks like Naughty Dog joined in on the festive holiday season and decided to give the fans a treat as they released major developments for "The Last Of Us 2." Eager fans were almost ready to give up hope as initial reports revealed that Naughty Dog was too busy with "Uncharted 4" updates and developments. What awaits the players in "The Last Of Us 2?"

In the latest "The Last Of Us 2" trailer released by Naughty Dog, one of the main characters from the original franchise, Ellie, can be seen all grown up. This confirmed previous "The Last Of Us 2" spoilers that there will be a time jump in the game's sequel.

The time jump in "The Last Of Us 2" opens new doors for the story and game plot to unfold. New environment as well as new characters are also expected in "The Last Of Us 2."

Joel, the other main character in "TLOU," also remains to be part of "The Last Of Us 2." However, "The Last Of Us 2" spoilers reveal that the relationship between Joel and Ellie will be entirely different from what they had in "TLOU."
