"Better Call Saul" Season 3 showrunner revealed that welcome the idea of having Bryan Cranston to direct an episode. The production of the TV series is also confirmed to be underway.
Showrunner of "Better Call Saul" Season 3, Vince Gilligan, said in a recent interview that the Speaking with Digital Trends late last month, showrunner Vince Gilligan revealed that Cranston visited the set in Albuquerque, hinting his desire to have the "Breaking Bad" actor as a director of one of the episodes. Gilligan also added that the cast and crew of "Better Call Saul" Season 3 enjoyed having Cranston on the set.
However, it is not clear yet if a deal has been struck between Cranston and Gilligan about the plan to have the highly acclaimed actor direct an episode for "Better Call Saul" Season 3. Nevertheless, the fans are reported to be more interested in Cranston's return as Walt White in the hit series' "Better Call Saul" Season" 3.
Although Cranston admitted early on that he is interested to be part of "Better Call Saul" Season 3, AMC has not given any official word yet regarding this. For now, the fans can only wait until the actor finally becomes part of the much-anticipated transformation of Jimmy into Saul in the next installment.
Meanwhile, AMC has reportedly released some behind the scenes photos of "Better Call Saul" Season 3 to tease the upcoming season. Meantime, Season 2 has left viewers with Slippin' Jimmy in a situation, since his brother Chuck was able to outsmart him by having a record of his confession regarding the forged Mesa Verde documents.
"Better Call Saul" Season 3 is also expected to feature some "Breaking Bad" crossovers. Gilligan confirmed about trying to include a Marie Schrader cameo, however, they eventually decided not to push the idea.
According to Gilligan, any "Breaking Bad" crossover will be featured in the storyline, instead of a random appearance, The Independent reported. "Better Call Saul" season 3 is rumored to air in 2017 on AMC.
