She loves sharing kindness in different ways. Lady Gaga shared her things to people who are less fortunate. For her, the children in Ali Forney Center are not just homeless. During her visit she led a brief meditation exercise since many of the LGBT are survivors from trauma of being rejected.
She also revealed that her own trauma made it easier for her to understand the trauma of other people. Lady Gaga is a rape victim. She was raped when she was 19 years old. She never disclosed that tragedy for seven years.
Lady Gaga said to the LGBT children that she doesn't have the same issue as they have but she is also suffering from mental illness. She is also struggling just like them every day and Lady Gaga needs to maintain her mantra to make her relaxed.
The singer is living with a posttraumatic stress disorder. Lady Gaga healed herself by researching on for herself how to overcome it. She found out that kindness is an effective cure. She also donated her clothes and other things in the Center. There is significance in making the homeless youth feel that they are not alone. She believed that kindness has an important role in becoming harmonious.
Lady Gaga is fortunate as she is surrounded by supporting people. The kindness of that support network helped her in curing her psychological wound according to Mirror. She also said that the kindness of everyone close to her saved her life.
