"Z Nation" will be renewed for another season. "Z Nation" Season 4 is set to be back on Syfy in 2017. Season 3 finale will be on Dec. 16 and right before that Syfy has confirmed Season 4 which will have 13 episodes. This popular series is centered mainly around Murphy (Keith Allan). Now two episodes are left of Season 3 and the fans know that the team is focusing on getting Lucy back.
According to the reports, the show is doing good in terms of the ratings and that is the reason behind the renewal. "Z Nation" has regularly ranked as top 10 most watched scripted series, noted The Hollywood Reporter. It has an average of 1.2 million viewers. Among them around 500,000 are adults aged 18-49 which is the advertiser's coveted group.
"Z Nation" is the story of a team of heroes who are struggling to save humanity from the zombie apocalypse. The team initially tries to bring Murphy (Keith Allan) to a viral lab. But the mission takes an unexpected turn. The team is now split. Murphy's mission is to create a race of human-zombie blend while Lieutenant Warren (Kellita Smith) leads a team which is determined to stop Murphy, as described by Deadline.
In season 3 of "Z Nation", 10 K is bitten by Murphy. Despite his attempt to get rid of Murphy 10K is once again under Murphy's control. The team splits up and Warren and Vietnamese virologist Sun Mei (Sydney Viengluang) plans to get Murphy's blood sample. Addy and Doc, on the other hand, trying to get Lucy before The Man. Murphy wants to be part of Warren's plan, the situation becomes tense due to this new development. Meanwhile, Citizen Z's airplane that Kaya's uncle is piloting, crash lands. He tells Murphy and Warren that Lucy is now with The Man. The team reunites to get Lucy back.
Kaya informs Citizen Z that he is going to be a father. Though Citizen Z is excited about returning home his plane is damaged. Now in the next episode fans will come to know how he will return by land since flesh-eating zombies are all over there or will manage to get a plane.
