With fantasy meeting reality in television, "Supernatural" Season 12 Episode 8 will see Lucifer in deal with the President of the United States. With this, one of the show's writers had revealed that there were actually plans for a crossover episode with the now concluded TV show "Smallville."
The Lotus
Lucifer now has a new vessel in "Supernatural" Season 12 Episode 8. However, unlike its previous hosts, the devil has now landed in perhaps the most dangerous place it could land in, the White House. The latest promo clip for "Supernatural" Season 12 revealed that Lucifer may now have found the perfect safe house.
With this, the Winchesters, together with Crowley and Rowena, must be able to stop the looming evil doings of Lucifer. While this may be a very straightforward mission, the task is far too complicated as "Supernatural" Season 12 Episode 8 sees the devil making a deal with one of the most powerful persons in the world.
The duo of Lucifer and the President of the Unites States might be the deadliest adversary so far that "Supernatural" Season 12 has ever seen. Episode 8 of the season will be titled "Lotus," which easily translates to "Lucifer of The United States."
The official synopsis of "Supernatural" Season 12 Episode 8 has indeed confirmed that Lucifer will be joining forces with the main man of the White House. POTUS will then be portrayed by guest star David Chisum. Lucifer will be tricking the unwitting president to take a deal, prompting Sam and Dean to take action. Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles play the roles, respectively. Castiel, Crowley, and Rowena would then be helping the two, respectively portrayed by Misha Collins, Mark Sheppard, and Ruth Connell.
"Smallville" Crossover?
Jackson Stewart, a former writer for "Supernatural," had revealed that the show actually had plans for a crossover scene with the hit TV show "Smallville." The storyline of the episode would have focused on "Superman Curse," with the Winchesters tracking down Clark Kent to protect him from the curse. Tom Welling previously played the Man of Steel in the show's run. "Supernatural" Season 12 Episode 8 will be aired on December 8 on The CW.
