'Pokemon' Latest News & Updates: There Are Two Mythical Pokemon Given For Free As Part Of Pokemon 20-Year Anniversary. Find Out Here!

"Pokemon" players can claim two Mythical Pokemon now through a couple of unrelated promotions. One is Magearna, which is offered as long as the main story is finished.

According to Tech Times, "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players who are done with the main story can lay the in-game QR scanner open and scan the code. Once the code scanning is finished, players should go to Hau'oli City and speak with the delivery man at the Antiquities of the Ages store to acquire the offered available Pokemon.

However, for "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players who haven't completed the game just yet, there is no need to be in a hurry to do so since the Magearna code is available indefinitely. The Magearna code will allow players to collect it at their convenience.

Apart from Magearna of "Pokemon Sun and Moon" being free, Meloetta is also available right now for free in "Pokemon X/Y" as well as "Alpha Sapphire/Omega Ruby," reports GameSpot. These free promotions are the final part of the celebration of the Pokemon 20-year anniversary, which has decided that a Mythical Pokemon is given away for free each month since February.

The "Pokemon Sun and Moon" freebie this month doesn't entail players to visit a store compared to the previous ones. Players can select the Receive Gift option in the main menu and obtain it via internet.

Players will then be able to gather a level 100 Meloetta at any in-game Pokemon Center. Additionally, unlike the indefinite Magearna giveaway, Meloetta can only be claimed until Dec. 24. For those who want to check the step-by-step instructions, click here.
