The race for the best virtual reality console has never been this competitive. With console headset systems like Sony's Playstation VR and a new line of VR headsets coming from distinguished mobile brands like Acer, Dell, Lenovo and HTC's well anticipated Vive 2. Virtual reality company Oculus plans to dominate the emerging entertainment market with their new pair of immersive VR peripherals: the Oculus Touch

According to CBS, Oculus co-founder and CEO Brendan Iribe said that Oculus aims to bring an immersive VR environment that allows you to actually look down and see your hands in VR as they are in the physical world. The soft spoken CEO detailed that the Oculus Touch is initially intended for gaming. Allowing you to interact in a whole new dimension of gaming by being able to interact within the VR landscape like climbing and making hand gestures.

Iribe has great enthusiasm for VR company's new peripheral controllers. Pairing the touch controllers to the Oculus Rift will literally transport you into the game which, according to VR company's co-founder, is the "holy grail" for gamers.

Oculus Rift Latest News & Updates: Touch Is Best VR Controller Available

The Oculus Touch may not be perfect, but it is the best VR controller available in the market to date. HTC Vive's grip button has been a nightmare for gamers because they are difficult to press and other controllers are not as responsive as Oculus' hand extensions.

According to TechCrunch, the first thing that gamers would appreciate about the Oculus Touch controllers are their comfortable and effortless feel. Gamers that are familiar with the Nintendo Gamecube's controller can visually distinguish the Touch's similar geometry albeit half in size.

The next generation of VR titles require a decent VR controller to fully engage with VR landscape. So far Oculus is dominating this part of the competition, and judging from Marcus Butler's first impression on the game below. Having a pair of these controllers can be the "holy grail" of VR gaming for now.
