Pop David, who claims to be a part of the "Rick and Morty" Season 3 team, revealed on Reddit that launching the new season this year is quite impossible. While fans are already hoping for an early debut for "Rick and Morty" Season 3, their hopes have been crashed by this Reddit post.
“They just finished writing all the scripts last week (as per a tweet by writer Dan Guterman) and only have full animation for one episode (as per another tweet by Guterman)," the Reddit user said. "Given that information, it should be pretty clear that any air date for this year is a long shot.”
While Adult Swim has not revealed the official release for "Rick and Morty" Season 3 yet, many believed that the series may premiere in 2017. Adult Swim has yet to comment on this release date rumor.
