'The Walking Dead: Season 3' Video Game Release Date, News & Update: Telltale Willl Release Two Episodes This Month

The upcoming adventure game series "The Walking Dead" season 3 game of Telltale Games is scheduled to be released this month of December. Another good news was revealed stating that this month, two episodes of the game will be released on the same day.

Telltale Games usually released episodes of the game individually and the succeeding episodes follows after weeks or a month. Fans were surprised on the announcement of "The Walking Dead" season 3 game that two episodes will be released on the same day.

The "A New Frontier" or "The Walking Dead" season 3 is called "The Ties that Bind." As Gamespot reported, a new character named Javier will be featured in the new game, together with Clementine, the main character of the first two seasons.

"The Walking Dead season 3: A New Frontier," takes place four years after the zombie plague began. Some part of the episode will show a glimpse of the moment of the outbreak with a devastating death.

Polygon cited that Telltale announced the premiere of "The Walking Dead" season 3 last month. It was set to release on December 20, 2016. CEO and co-founder of the studio, Kevin Bruner, announced during The Game Awards that the first two out of five episodes of the third season will be released on the announced date.

Bruner also said that the premiere of "The Walking Dead" season 3 was too big to fit in one chapter. Therefore, the first and second parts of "The Ties that Bind" will be the first two episodes.

"The Walking Dead" is an interactive drama graphic adventure game series published and developed by Telltale Games. "The Walking Dead" season 3 will be released on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, iOS, Android, Mac, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The Telltale schedule for the next three episodes of the game series will be announced these following months.
