Killzone: Shadow Fall - Campaign Mode Offers 10 Plus Hours of Gameplay [VIDEO]

Killzone: Shadow Fall's campaign mode will take more than 10 hours for most players

Guerilla Games and SCE’s upcoming FPS title Killzone: Shadow Fall just got a major boost. It has been revealed that Killzone: Shadow Fall’s campaign mode will offer more than 10 hours of gameplay.

Speaking at a recent Q&A session hosted via the Official PlayStation Blog, Game Director Steven Ter Heide revealed that majority of the gamers will take more than 10 hours to complete the Killzone: Shadow Fall’s campaign missions.

Apart from a 10 hour plus campaign mode, it was also revealed from the same session that Killzone: Shadow Fall’s campaign will not feature co-op.

“No, the campaign will not have a co-op mode. However, we’re planning to release a separate Online Co-op Expansion Pack after launch; it will add a new wave-based game mode, in which up to four players take on hordes of enemies in special arena maps,” the post states.

Apparently, someone also placed a few queries about the kind of vehicles that players will get via the game’s multiplayer mode, and if there was anything new to report related to it.

Killzone: Shadow Fall’s multiplayer will not have any vehicles – like Exoskeletons or Jetpacks – at launch. “We wanted to ensure that player-created, custom Warzones work on all multiplayer maps, and the inclusion of vehicles would have introduced too many new variables and exceptions to guarantee this,” wrote Heide.

Now for one of the most important information revealed via this session: According to the confirmation made by Steven Ter Heide, related to weapons available for customization for multiplayer mode, the game will feature 22 weapons at launch, and that pretty much all of them can be enhanced with various attachments.

Additionally, Guerilla Games has announced that Killzone: Shadow Fall has gone gold. Confirming the news on Twitter, the game’s executive producer Angie Smets wrote: “We are Gold.” For those of who you not aware as to what going gold means, it signifies that the game is now completed and is ready to be transferred to the discs.

Also, a brand new 13 minutes gameplay footage from the recently concluded Tokyo Game Show has been revealed for Killzone: Shadow Fall. Check out the footage below.

Killzone: Shadow Fall takes place 30 years after the events of Killzone 3 and is set in an era of interplanetary colonization, focusing on the conflict between the Vektans and the Helghast. The game will launch exclusively for PlayStation 4 on Nov. 15, when the console releases.
