Even the members of the cast have recently shared their desire for the show to be renewed, including August Maturo, who plays Riley's little brother Auggie. In a series of tweets and retweets over the weekend, he used the hashtag "saveGMW" and listed reasons why Disney should continue "Girl Meets World" Season 3 and extend it until at least Season 4.

Cheryl Texiera, who portrays Maya's mother Katy, also wrote a heartfelt letter addressed to Disney, asking for the coming-of-age series to be extended. For two and a half years, Texiera has witnessed the themes explored by "Girl Meets World" Season 3, 2 & 1, including bullying and autism, which is why she said that she'd hate to see it go. "This show is more than just 30 minutes of programming. It's a reflection of what being a teenager is and it's relatable to anyone who's ever been there," she said about "Girl Meets World" season 3.

No matter where "Girl Meets World" ends up, a confirmation of the show's continuation may just be the best Christmas gift for the fans.
