"Destiny 2" is expected to be the next big project from game developer Bungie and publisher Activision. Although both companies have continued to remain silent with regard to providing concrete details about the title, the sequel to the 2014 online-only first-person shooter video game has become a favorite subject of numerous rumors and speculations all over the Internet for a few months now. New reports have emerged suggesting that Bungie will make an announcement regarding "Destiny 2" before the year ends.

It was previously reported that "Destiny 2" will be announced during the recent Playstation Experience 2016; however, the company decided for the event to wrap up before giving fans some solid information about the development of the sequel. Apparently, Bungie decided to put everything about the highly anticipated game under wraps. Nonetheless, reports are everywhere suggesting that "Destiny 2" will come out in 2017.

In a report by Gamers Drop, it appears that Bungie's focus as of the moment is to roll out more fresh content for the current "Destiny" title. According to the publication, the game developer is planning to release two sets of DLC updates in 2017. If rumors prove to be true, fans may have to wait for 2018 for "Destiny 2" to be launched.

Meanwhile, according to Game N Guide, "Destiny 2" is definitely going to be more exciting than the original game. The publication said that the sequel will feature more exciting content with new missions that would surely improve the gaming experience.

As for now, fans will have to wait for Bungie to make an official announcement regarding its release date specifics. Until then, all rumors and speculations about "Destiny 2" must be taken with a grain of salt.
