WWE 2016 Latest News & Update: Limping Undertaker May Not Make It To Wrestlemania 33

The Undertaker was spotted at WWE Raw in Austin, Texas recently though it may have been nothing more than a friendly visit. Just the same, the rumor mill has run wild though the “Dead Man” was around merely as a spectator.

The Undertaker declared himself as a regular for WWE SmackDown, a show that he calls his home. He appeared on the 900th episode of the blue brand, sending out a chilling warning to the representatives of the show to Survivor Series 2016.

As far as the last time he was seen in the ring, such happened at Wrestlemania 32. He was up against Shane McMahon in a Hell in a Cell match which he obviously won. From that time on, he has been on hiatus and reportedly underwent hip surgery.

That somehow explains why he has been out of the WWE scene though it may also confirm why he was still carrying a slight limp. There were no details on the severity of his surgery though it would not come as a surprise if he was still not 100% healthy, Cageside Seats reported.

Right now, the Undertaker has not officially returned to the ring competitively. He has been only sighted, nothing more. But the concern of most is the limp. Will this be an obstacle as far as planned matches for the “Dead Man”?

There were rumors tying up the Undertaker to a possible feud with AJ Styles, Comicbook.com reported. It could mean a short title-run or a storyline purely to bring the two wrestling icons together.

Looking forward, there is the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania 33 to consider. The latter is a stage where the Undertaker has been regularly booked. But will four months be enough for the “Phenom” to wrestle again?

Among the mentioned opponents include John Cena and Goldberg. Aside from that, some believe that it could be the Undertaker’s last ride. Right now nothing is certain with most more concerned of seeing the WWE icon back in harness.
