Galaxy Note 7 Latest News & Update: Engineers Finally Reveal Cause Behind Galaxy Note 8's Predecessor's Explosion Disaster

Samsung's investigation over the true reason behind the explosive episodes of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has not yielded the official result to date. However, this did not stop an engineering firm from breaking the explosive unit into pieces and uncovering the true reason behind its tendencies to burst into flames.

It is disturbing to note that Samsung missed the literally explosive feature of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 despite the many complicated laboratory tests they supposedly ran before the model was released. But considering that the tech giant had no choice but to recall their flagship unit, taking so much time in tracing the glitch that caused the problem is forgivable, according to Consumer News And Business Channel.

However, Samsung's ongoing analysis did not hamper the techy minds of engineers from an engineering firm to perform their own investigation. After taking one Samsung Galaxy Note 7 unit into their laboratory and tearing it up to pieces, the engineers reveal the interesting results of their own analysis.

Realizing the hanging resolution of the massive Samsung Galaxy Note 7 recall, Instrumental, a manufacturing technology firm decided to conduct its independent investigation. The results were surprising. According to ZD Network, Instrumental found that the culprit behind the explosions was the phone's design.

Instrumental traces two design problems. First, the battery was too vulnerable to even the slightest amount of pressure. Placing Samsung Galaxy Note 7 in pockets of tight jeans or in the small compartments of a full bag was causing stress to its battery.

Second is that the design did not provide enough tolerance around the phone's battery. Because of this, even regular phone usage was causing compressions to Samsung Galaxy Note 7 units.

Instrumental believes that the engineers of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 knew about the design glitch which urged them to deploy a custom CNC enclosure to prevent pressure and compression. Unfortunately, their trick did not work. Instrumental adds that even if CNC maneuver was successful, long-term effects in battery performance due to the design was inevitable.
