‘Pokemon Go' Latest News & Update: Turning Every Starbucks Store To PokeStop & Gym

Players "Pokémon GO" eagerly wait for a Christmas event for the phenomenon game. Aside from that, there is something more 'corporate' happening before that.

A big cross-promotion between "Pokemon GO" and Starbucks have been rumored for a few weeks now. After confirmation from a staff in Starbucks, this rumor is very much seems to be real.

According to a report from Forbes, the new deal between the store and "Pokemon GO" is practically making every Starbucks in the US into a gym or PokeStop. Based on the documents leaked, it suggests that the reason for this cross-promotion is that stores have seen an increase in sales and traffic in PokeStop stores.

Also, according to the same report, few Starbucks stores will be exempt from the "Pokemon Go" agreement due to some technical reasons, but the majority of the store will now be PokeStops or gyms. For fans of the both parties see no negative reaction to this issue.

Another thing is, this event will produce a new drink at Starbucks, with the name "Pokémon GO Frappuccino." It contains blackberry and raspberry which emulates the berry items in the game.

While the "Pokemon GO" drinks are on "while supplies last," it is no clarification if the deal means that Starbucks has right to permanently have all their stores to be PokeStops. Some comments said, it would work out well for everyone if this was permanent. More PokeStops, the better the game is for everyone.

Fortunately, the fan won't have to wait too long to find out what rewards are available on cross-promotion of the "Pokémon Go" and Starbucks. Digitaltrends cited, if the event is indeed true, it is scheduled this Thursday morning and will continue as long as supplies of the new Frappuccino mix last.
