"Total War: Warhammer" is preparing its biggest update to date, titled "Realm of the Wood Elves." The massive DLC will bring the Glade Lords of Athel Loren and a few unlockable mounts.
The Glade Lords in the 'Total War: Warhammer' DLC
PC Gamer stated that a couple of new trailers for the new "Total War: Warhammer" DLC feature the Glade Lords. They are the heads and guardians of the Asrai and their main objective is to ensure that their forest homes are protected from intruders.
Through the years, they have mastered both melee combat and archery to ward off enemies. The Glade Lords in the "Total War: Warhammer" DLC have two combat skill trees and two Battle trees that strengthen their armies into melee and ranged tacticians.
There are also mounts to unlock in the"Total War: Warhammer" DLC, namely the Great Eagle, the Forest Dragon and the Elven Steed. The Forest Dragons can be obtained by those of higher ranks.
New Wizards in 'The Realm of the Wood Elves'
Steam revealed that the Jade Wizard can also be included in the team in the "Total War: Warhammer" DLC. The character is allegedly part of The Jade Order and is skilled at the Lore of Life Ghyran. The Jade Wizard is a powerful healer, capable of replenishing HP throughout the map via its Lifebloom spell.
The wizard can also cast the Flesh to Stone spell that boosts the armor of targeted friendly units. Regrowth will replenish HP and boost resistance to targeted allies. Earth Blood will increase HP in an area wide effect.
The new "Total War: Warhammer" expansion will also introduce The Grey Wizard, a member of the College of the Grey Order. They are especially skilled in the ways of the Lore of Shadows or Ulgu, which targets the mind.
The Grey Wizard in the "Total War: Warhammer" DLC have offensive powers like the Penumbral Pendulum that deals magic damage to several enemies, and Pits of Shades which damage and disrupt enemies. The Grey Wizard in the "Total War: Warhammer" DLC can increase the speed of allies on a map-wide scale.
The "Total War: Warhammer" Realm of the Wood Elves DLC is set to launch on Dec. 8, 2016. More updates and details are expected soon.
