'Jane the Virgin' Season 3 Release Date, Spoilers & Updates: Who Are Rafael's Real Parents? Catalina Still Up to Something

Fans of "Jane the Virgin" won't have to wait for a long time to see the second half of Season 3. The TV show will return next month on The CW.

Season 3B air date

Set to air on Jan. 23, the second part of "Jane the Virgin" Season 3 will explore the question about Rafael's parents. During the midseason finale of the show, fans found out that Rafael was not a Solano son.

The fall finale revealed that the character was an adopted son of the Solanos from Italy. The bigger question is if Rafael's father was aware of the truth or his mother just hid it to avoid complications.

Rafael's real identity

His real identity may also raise questions about his being a legitimate heir to the money and properties of his family. Similarly, his children may also lose their right to a wealthy and well-off future.

When Rafael walked into the convent to search for the truth, the Mother Superior handed him an envelope that changed his life. As he later on showed this to Jane, the content was a birth certificate of a lost little boy from Italy who was given to Rafael's mom.

Catalina still lying

Aside from this cliffhanger, viewers of "Jane the Virgin" are also eager to know what Catalina's business really is. Jane earlier accused her of a crime after seeing jewelry and cash inside her bag but Catalina explained herself pretty well.

Catalina said she did not trust automated teller machines so she just decided to have with her all her money. As for the jewels, she claimed that it will be part of an auction with the proceeds to be sent to Venezuela.

While Jane believed her story, it seemed that Catalina is still hiding something. The midseason finale showed him meeting a French guy who was a very familiar person to her.
