The "Batman" solo movie certainly is not as close as many would want it, but the stars behind it have shined a little bit of light for those eager to know more. So far, the little rumors and hunches are slowly piling up for all fans alike.

Ben Affleck's upcoming standalone "Batman" film has become quite the mystery to many, especially with so many questions left unanswered. Now, one of the most important ones seem to have been given the answer it so heavily deserved-the start of its creation.

According to past reports, Joe Manganiello hinted that the "Batman" film is to begin filming before the year concludes. For those uninformed, Manganiello is confirmed on being the most dangerous assassin in the DC universe, Slade Wilson also known as Deathstroke. One tendency is to have the movie start filming by spring of 2017 at the earliest, though this is to be declared further on.

A certainty for the "Batman" movie is that the film will launch by summer of 2018, which will go alongside the titular "Aquaman" standalone film. The film will be starred, written and directed by Affleck himself, and on a more intriguing note, no story has been divulged thus far. One oddity is that recently, Manganiello exchanged a few tweets with actor Armie Hammer, congratulating him for what seems to be a success. Some speculations say that Hammer could be playing Green Lantern in the "Justice League" movie, but such is still to be confirmed.

Another rumor is the possibility of casting a Robin for the "Batman" movie, however, no casting leaks have surfaced thus far. Crazily enough, Hammer has been said to be a potential candidate for Harvey Dent or Two-Face, but at this point should be held on as a grain of salt.
