Wednesday morning, the judge rejected Brad Pitt's request to seal his and his ex-wife Angelina Jolie's divorce and custody battle from the public. The effort of Brad was denied as he continuously fights for his time to spend with his children.
Brad is trying the idea to get the visitation to his kids "at least twice per week" and quickly requested an emergency hearing but County Judge Richard Burdge Jr. denied the sealing request. Judge Burdge find the request too "broad." By the time of filing the request, Pitt claimed that Angelina doesn't need to expose the confidential details pertaining to the therapists and their kids when she filed the voluntary child custody agreement as a public document.
In a signed declaration, Pitt stated that he was heavily concerned that if the court did not seal the custody record and the information contained therein will greatly cause damage the privacy rights of their children, E! has reported.
As for Angelina's part, she opposed the sealing request on Wednesday and claimed Brad was only protecting himself and not the kids - from public scrutiny over his obstructive behavior, back on September 14, when they fly back from France. Where Pitt had an argument with Maddox on the plane but Brad didn't physically harm the kid.
According to reports from TMZ, Angelina felt the necessity to file the documents to have the court enforce the term of letting a therapist decide on when Brad can start having his unmonitored visits towards their children. A source that is connected to the case, implies that Brad has been trying to push past the process. The source further stated that Brad was acting like a celebrity who get used getting all that he wants.
Brad now wanted to have a solo time with his children and denied the allegations that he is making an effort to change the temporary custody deal. Angelina, on the other hand, wants the whole case to be private but only when Brad will stick to the custody agreement they both agreed months ago.
