'Rosewood' Season 3 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Fox Brings A 'Bones' Crossover To Keep Ratings High

Since the second season of "Rosewood" is not doing so well, there is an uncertainty regarding the future of the series. With that, fans are looking forward to what Fox has in store for "Rosewood" season 3.

During the past season of the series, Fox presented "Rosewood" alongside "Empire," which played every Wednesday. Since "Empire" is Fox's highest rated show, the move was to boost the ratings for the new series. However, it seems as though there are new plans for "Rosewood" season 3.

It was announced that Fox intends to keep "Rosewood" season 3 airing on Thursday nights, in order to make the timeslot more competitive. With that, there is a lot of hope for the series to receive higher ratings, in order to keep the series renewed. Unfortunately, no release date has been given for the upcoming season of "Rosewood."

In addition, another one of Fox's efforts in raising the ratings for "Rosewood" is the upcoming crossover with Fox's well-loved shows. Reports indicated that a character from "Bones" will be joining the series, which will surely bring some exciting moments to the show. Dr. Daisy Wick, who is played by Carla Gallo, is expected to play a role in "Rosewood." This is expected to increase the chances of renewal for "Rosewood" season 3.

According to Cinema Blend, the episode that will show Ortiz' character will take place in Cuba, as the groups will investigate different mysteries. Daisy is said to be one of the characters' roommate, who will help out the group with her Jeffersonian skills. With that, it is evident that the show is doing all it can in order to bring "Rosewood" season 3 to life.

Nevertheless, fans are looking forward to seeing Morris Chestnut's Dr. Beaumont Rosewood Jr. back in the small screens. The charming pathologist has won the hearts of many viewers, as he solves crimes alongside Jaina Lee Ortiz's Detective Annalise Villa. Many are hoping that they will continue their adventures in the small screens for "Rosewood" season 3.
