‘Halo 5: Guardian’ Latest News & Update: Monitor’s Bounty Boosts Enhancements On Multiplayer, Custom Game, Forge Maps
Microsoft and 343 Industries released the biggest update of the action-packed first-person shooter video game "Halo 5: Guardian" dubbed as "Monitor's Bounty." Rolling out for Xbox and PC, the latest expansion showcases never-before-seen features in the history of Halo franchise.
The "Monitor's Bounty" pave the way for the transformation and enhancement of the Multiplayer option. This provides Xbox and PC gamers an early Christmas treat as Windows 10 players can get the almost complete Halo 5 multiplayer game for free.
Another breakthrough of the "Monitor's Bounty" edition is the Custom Game browser that gives gamers the free hand to build maps in Forge and play with them. While the predecessors of the latest "Halo 5: Guardian" sequel require gamers to invite friends in order to play, the "Monitor's Bounty" allows fans to play solo. It also rolled out the Observer Mode where players can now invite online spectators to witness their campaign.
The "Monitor's Bounty" also introduces a wide range of new weapons, armor, items, skins, cosmetics, mini maps, and more. Overall, the update included over 650 new objects on top of the entirely new systems and functionality, bringing the total number of objects in "Halo 5: Guardian" to over 3,800.
Among the exciting features to this expansion pack of "Halo 5: Guardian" is the revival of mini games. With this, players can enjoy the fan-favorite classic games Race, King and Battle Golf and create ridiculous array of crazy new modes and experiences from over 340 versions of the games.
While there are a number of sweet new weapons, vehicles, assassinations, armor, and more, the enhancements and additions being made specifically to Forge in "Monitor's Bounty" dwarfs everything else in this ambitious free update to Halo 5, according to Tom French, 343 Industries UGC Director.
"This update was a labor of love by a team passionate about empowering the community to create whatever they want to make the legacy of Halo 5 their own," he said.Watch the preview of the latest expansion pack of "Halo 5: Guardian" here:
