The "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" or Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 is an upcoming superhero film that is produced by Marvel Studios. The film is written and directed by James Gunn and "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" is the sequel to 2014's Guardians of the Galaxy. The film will be released on May 5, 2017.
Guardians of the Galaxy are like the Avengers, but they are the heroes in space. They are composed of Peter Quill or Star Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket and Groot, but in the "Guardians of the Galaxy 2," he will be shown as Baby Groot. In the movie, there are reports that Peter Quill will learns about his father and also his true heritage.
There was a report in regards with "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" that Ego the living planet will be his father in the film instead of J'son, the father of Peter Quill in the comics. Ego will be seen in a humanoid guise instead of his planetary form as in the comics. There is no updates yet on what will happen once Peter Quill and Ego met.
There is also a report that James Gunn, the director of the film plans to increase the roaster of Guardians of the Galaxy. One possible addition to the group in "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" is Moondragon, the daughter of Drax. Moondragon is a powerful telepath, a low telekinesis and a master martial artist.
Some additional cast in "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" are Mantis, a possible additional member of the Guardians of the Galaxy that has emphatic powers and was raised by Ego. Ayesha, The golden High Priestess that will enlist help of the Guardians of the Galaxy. And the possible Antagonist, Taserface.
James Gunn mentioned that Taserface would be a real dumbass and a very powerful guy. Right now, these are the reports that could happen in the "Guardians of the Galaxy 2". Lets wait and find out more once Marvel provide us more trailers.
