"Lucifer" season 2 has so many plots that can be explored and this alone leads to so many theories that might answer all your questions. Starting from who are the angels disguise as humans among the characters? Will God really interfere to Lucifer and Charlotte's conflict? What will happen to Chloe? Who is Ella? Will there be a death in the upcoming episodes and season?
Who are the angels?
One theory before is that Chloe Decker, played by Lauren German, is not just an ordinary detective. Rather treat her as a human being, maybe she is an angel sent by God to control Lucifer (Tom Ellis). However, it turns out that Chloe is a miracle baby (revealed on "Lucifer" Season 3) and here's the funny thing...Amenadial, Lucifer's brother, was the one who was sent by God to grant the wish of Chloe's parent. So, one theory is now trashed. Chloe is definitely not an angel but a miracle baby that is why Lucifer cannot seduce or control her mind.
Another theory is that Ella Lopez (Aimee Garcia) is the angel disguise as a human. Strange speculation but maybe this might be true. Ella suddenly appeared in "Lucifer" Season 2 beaming an extraordinary bond with God. She always makes her way to let Lucifer know that there is a Big Guy above Who is watching us and is listening to all our prayers. The majority of her appearance revolves around her talking about God to Lucifer. To back up this theory, the forensic medical examiner has no clear family background, what fans only know is she has 5 unnamed brothers.
Lucifer vs. Charlotte vs. God?
As far as the spoilers are concerned, the upcoming episodes will allegedly feature God. there is also speculation that He is disguised as one of the patients in a psychiatric ward. He will come down for Lucifer and to Charlotte (Tricia Helfer) as the two are now starting to get things complicated on earth. Too many complications may lead to big trouble. There are speculations who will portray the role of God but many are convinced that this is still a rumor.
Candy Morningstar
Now, this is one of the most exciting parts of "Lucifer" Season 2--guessing who is Candy Morningstar. Fans are itching to know who is this character. Is it Chloe? Ella? Lucifer's sister? Or a stripper?
Some say that it is Chloe and this is just her disguise in one of her missions. She and Lucifer might act as husband and wife. Meanwhile, fans are also thinking that maybe Lucifer will once again ask Ella's help and be Candy Morningstar for a while. Though this sounds awkward, they already pulled off a bond when they work together as a pair before.
On the other hand, the majority of the viewers are convinced that this might be a new regular or recurring character in "Lucifer" Season 2. Maybe Lucifer has a sister named Candy or maybe, like what iTech Post predict, he will tie the knot with someone he seduced (or maybe someone he knew and probably she is a stripper from Las Vegas).
