'Supergirl' Season 2 Air Date, News & Update: Jeremy Jordan's Winn Schott is Too Busy to Feel FOMO Over "Invasion!"

"Supergirl" season 2 shaped up to be very successful in its new home at The CW. The show was even part of the recently-concluded massive crossover event with three other The CW shows. Last week, the show ended with a crossover event titled "Invasion!" that was kicked off by "The Flash," and continued on "Arrow," and ended with "Legends of Tomorrow."

In the crossover episodes, fans and viewers found Kara A.K.A. Supergirl herself teaming up with Oliver Queen, Barry Allen, and the heroes of "Legends of Tomorrow" to stop aliens from destroying humanity. Towards the end, it was Cisco Ramon's ingenuity that helped Kara find her way back to Earth-38. While it is implied that the aliens may come back sometime in the future, it won't be Supergirl's problem to deal with anymore.

According to executive producer Andrew Kreisberg, the crossover episode won't have much effect on "Supergirl" season 2, Comicbook reports. Given that Kara is from another Earth, it only makes sense that the responsibility will fall on Barry Allen and Oliver Queen. In the meantime, Jeremy Jordan's Winn Schott, who wasn't part of the "Invasion!" storyline, doesn't seem to be affected at all.

In "Supergirl" season 2, Jeremy Jordan's Winn Schott is too busy to feel FOMO over "Invasion!" Why is that? According to Entertainment Weekly, Winn seems to have something more important to deal with, as hinted by Jordan himself.

According to Jordan, Winn "doesn't have a lot of time to be bummed out" about "Invasion!" because of what's coming in the next episode. The sad part is that fans will have to wait until January to find out what Jordan is hinting about. Now that we know Jeremy Jordan's Winn Schott is too busy to feel FOMO over "Invasion!," what could he possibly be busy over in "Supergirl" season 2?

Could it be that "Supergirl" season 2 will finally see Kara and Winn have a fallout, as we reported last month? There's also the arrival of Mr. Mxyzptlk, which is also highly anticipated by fans and viewers. "Supergirl" season 2 returns to The CW in January.
