Now, after numerous promises and deadlines, Martin speaks about an update for his much awaiting "Game of Thrones" novel.
Even though the novel is not finished yet, "The Winds of Winter" is already topping the trends today. Over the years, George RR Martin has offered various updates on his progress, releasing teaser chapters to the public and detailing the savagery of the novel.
George RR Martin teased the upcoming "The Winds of Winter," the sixth part in the "A Song of Ice and Fire" novel sagain a recent Q&A at the Guadalajara International Book Fair. He said that there are a lot of dark chapters right now in the book that he's writing.
The novel is called "The Winds of Winter" and for 20 years, George has been telling his fans that winter was coming. He said to the audience. "The winter is the time when all things die, and ice and cold and darkness fill the world, so this is not going to be the happy feel-good that people may be hoping for. Some of the characters are in very dark places."
iTech cited that George RR Martin also admitted that the story of "The Winds of Winter" will not meet everyone's expectations as it will promote a darker kind of storyline. Those viewers who expect the book to be a kind of a fairytale should change their perspective as the author admits that the book would have produced a bittersweet result.
According to Independent's "The Winds of Winter" report, the saga's final novel"A Dream of Spring,"George RR Martin once again spoke about his planned bittersweet ending. "I am not going to tell you how I'm going to finish my book, but I suspect the overall flavor is going to be as much bittersweet as it is happy." He said.
Reports say the "Game of Thrones" sixth novel "The Winds of Winter" is expected to be released on March 2017. No official announcements for the releasing date of the novel, but the best year to expect for its releasing date is at the end of 2017 until 2018.
