Android 7.0 Nougat is expected to launch on another handset in the Samsung Galaxy Lineup. After the OS update launched on the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, the update has been announced for the A series as well. Apparently for the Galaxy S7, Apple has reportedly ceased compensation for several users.
The South Korean company reportedly revealed that several of the A series will get the Android 7.0 Nougat. It has been noted that the Samsung Galaxy A3, A5, A7, A8, A9 and the Galaxy A9 Pro may get the Android 7.0 Nogat in the near future. Furthermore, it has been speculated that the Android 7.0 Nougat will reach the specified devices by the second quarter of 2017, News18 reported.
On the contrary, the South Korean tech giant's flagship phones are yet to receive the OS update. On that note, the Galaxy A 2016 series may not get the Android 7.0 Nougat this year. However, the giant tech company has also reportedly reopened the registrations for the S7 and S7 edge Nougat beta in the U.K. It is further expected that the Nougat beta will be released to users in the U.S. as well.
In other news, the Android 7.0 Nougat on the Galaxy Note 7 may just be a small fraction compared to the counter flaws of the product. The debacle on the exploding batteries apparently persist as Samsung announced that it may cease to compensate the Note 7 users in Korea apart from what was offered during the recall, according to report.
Android 7.0 Nougat is still expected to push through in other handsets in the Galaxy series. However, the company is reportedly facing lawsuits after another for the damages of the igniting phone.
