Google Home News & Updates: Netflix & Google Photos Integration As The New Feature; Users Can Play Netflix Content On Google Chromecast?
Control the world with your own voice idea was the reason why Google Home was somehow, one of the high-tech gadgets that Google had ever released. With its great features, Google Home is now integrated with Netflix and Google Photos.
Many of the users started to see the 'Videos and Photos' section in their Google Home's Assistant settings. In this setting, you will have the option to link your Netflix account and you can enable or disable Photos integration.
According to Android Police, it doesn't work with everyone. Some users can link their account and some are not able to so. It only means that Google Home's new feature is not fully functional for all users. However, users can expect that it can be available for everyone within a couple of days.
Steps on how to find the new section in the Google Home setting:
The first step is to open your Google Home application. After doing so, click the Devices icon which can be found on the right top corner that looked like TV and speaker. After you click the icon, scroll down until you find your Home.
Select the three dots located on the top-right corner then click Settings. Under the Google Assistant Settings, you can find the More icon and just click it. And then, you can now see the Videos and Photos group wherein linking an account to Netflix and Google Photos is available.
As what was written above, it is still not available yet for everyone. If you are able to see the Videos and Photos group, then congratulations for you. But if not, you have to wait for a couple of days and try again.
Moreover, there's a new another feature for Google Home's user using the Assistant App. It enables the users to play Netflix content on Google Chromecast or Chromecast built-in TV with simple voice commands. With these integrations, Google Home users can expect more features to further improve the device's functionality.
