Superhero with superpowers? NBC "Powerless" is not about that, the title says it all. But here's the thing, the characters are way more better than Superman, Wonder Woman and other superheroes who saves the earth using their laser beams and super out of the world high tech gadgets.
NBC "Powerless" vs. Superhero TV Series
We've seen too many superhero TV series so one might think, maybe we have too many superheroes with superpowers on our TV screens. Why not create a character who's like me? Or you? Or anyone who can't fly? Then, here's Emily Locke.
The plot of NBC "Powerless" is unlike any other storyline we've read before as the series will revolve around "powerless" people who are existing in the same world as the superheroes. It is DC's first comedy show that will surely relate to each of the viewers lives (in a funny way).
Emily will be the central character of NBC "Powerless" and she will be the "powerless" superhero of NBC "Powerless". Her story will revolve around her life outside and inside of her office. The villains here are not like werewolves or vampires, here, her enemies are inside her office circle especially her boss who acts like Lex Luthor.
Moreover, the daily problems that Emily will be resolving in NBC "Powerless" are not like how to destroy a comet or to save the world full of aliens but rather, attend to the needs of those who are affected by collateral damage. And not to mention, other problems are, how to get to the office on time, how to get rid of her bossy boss, how to fix her schedule and how to achieve her unbelievable goals.
NBC "Powerless" Cast and Release Date
According to Morning Ledger, NBC "Powerless" TV series will feature a bunch of comedians and versatile actors and actresses. Vanessa Hudgens will play Emily Locke, the main powerless superhero of the show. She will be joined by Alan Tudyk, Christina Kirk, Danny Pudi, and Ron Funches.
NBC "Powerless" is set to premiere on February 2 every Thursday.
