"Teen Wolf" Season 6 premiere is now a few weeks back, but still no sign of Dylan O'Brien or his character Stiles. Where is he?
Will he finally return on Season 6 episode 5 and explain his ordeal after being taken by the Wild Hunt? Will he return before the finale for Dylan and Lydia to have something romantic together?
According to Holland Roden, fans should not lose hope. She hints that her character, Lydia might have an "otherworldly connection" with Stiles, explaining why she is the one moping around and sensing something is wrong without Stiles around instead of Scott.
Stilles' abandoned Jeep gave Lydia the first concrete clue that Stiles might still be around. The rest of the pack has all but given up on hoping that Stiles will return but Lydia has been holding on steadfastly. Even more than Scott, who is said to have the closest bond with Stiles, it was Lydia who has been sensing something is awry without Stiles around.
According to Roden, this might be because the two characters really have an unique connection.
"She just has the sixth sense of something's wrong," Roden shared to Screener TV, "Hopefully, maybe it is because they have some unspoken, otherworldly connection between the two of them, but you'll have to say tuned as to exactly why -- is it assuming her banshee powers? That she is just one of his friends? Or in fact something more?"
The actress even claimed that if fans want to see Lydia and Stiles together in "Teen Wolf" Season 6, she will be a happy trooper. Unfortunately, she is not the one writing the scripts. Still, fans can hope right?
Fans are really hoping that Stiles can return already so that Lydia can prove how wrong his friends and family are about Stiles being a figment of her imagination. Also, rumors are rampant that without Stiles, "Teen Wolf Season 6 ratings are suffering a lot.
Since this is Teen Wolf's final season, the show would want to go with a bang. Tyler Posey, his co-actor on the show is missing him terribly.
"Every time we were on the set we would help each other with stress, and everything that comes with filming a TV show. And without him there I looked around at one point and I was filming a scene and everyone that was in the scene with me was new and I felt like this veteran and I was like, 'I really miss Dylan!" Posey told Hollywood Life.
The show airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m ET/PT on MTV. Teen Wolf" Season 6 episode 5 will air on December 13 on MTV
