‘The Flash' Season 3 Midseason Spoilers: Will Caitlin and Julian Become Intimate?

Romance is definitely in the air when the second half of "The Flash" Season 3 returns on Jan. 24. Aside from Barry and Iris, it seems Caitlin and Julian are off to a good start too, if the midseason finale is any indication.

In the midseason finale of "The Flash" Season 3, Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) invited Julian Dorn (Tom Felton) to join the Christmas Eve gathering at Joe West's house. She thought that he should not be alone to celebrate Christmas. At first, the CSI declined but he eventually showed up at Joe's house. Caitlin beamed when she saw Julian arrive at the party and she offered him eggnog.

Caitlin invited Julian even though everyone now knows that he is Dr. Alchemy. She went out of her way to make Julian feel welcome in the team, even though he clearly despises metahumans. This may seem like a casual thing that the friendly and charming Caitlin does to people she feels are innately good.

However, their brief interaction also opened to speculations that perhaps Caitlin and Julian could be a new love team in "The Flash" Season 3. According to TV Line, Caitlin and Julian's interaction in the second half of "The Flash" Season 3 is something that fans should keep a close eye on. Who knows, that start of friendship might lead to something more romantic.

It is about time that Caitlin meet someone new. She has suffered a lot of heartache in her life that she needs someone to make her happy again. Perhaps Julian might just be the right person to make her believe in love again.

Likewise, Julian is a good guy altogether. From what the midseason finale of "The Flash" Season 3 revealed, he is someone who clearly values his loved ones. Viewers learned that he was very close to his sister. His sister's death prompted him to search for the Philosopher's Stone, since he was desperate to bring her back.
