‘Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life’ News & Update: New Theories about Rory’s Future

Ever since the "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life' ended with a cliff-hanger episode, fans want to know about Rory's future. Fans have come up with different theories about the final four words. But now Milo Ventimiglia (Jess Mariano) in an interview revealed that in 'Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life' Season 2 Jess is going to fight for Rory.

In the original CW series Ventimiglia plays the role of Rory's (Alexis Bledel) high school sweetheart Jess who was quite a bad boy. But in the Netflix revival, he has returned to the show as a matured and grown up person. Jess still has feelings for Rory and Rory is seemingly pregnant with Logan's child. So if there is "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" Season 2 there will be definitely a love triangle between Jess, Rory and Logan.

"Will it be she's carrying Logan's child and Jess is going to fight for her because Logan's going to be schmucky, or is Logan, the rich guy, going to fight for her and Jess is going to be schmucky? I don't know. I'm thinking it's Logan's kid and Jess is going to fight for her," Ventimiglia told Entertainment Weekly.

The similarity between Jess and his uncle Luke is apparent. But what does Ventimiglia think about the comparison? In the same interview, he told that it would be good for Jes to be like Luke as Luke is a good human being. He also expressed his admiration for Scott Patterson who plays Luke in the series. Patterson also added to the theory and told Entertainment Weekly that he too believed in the link between Jess and Luke.

But will there be a Season 2 of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life'? It is not confirmed yet. The ending which is more of a cliffhanger made the fans pray for another season. But let's not forget the fact that it's not a regular series and according to Sherman-Paladino life never settles down. She also said that the show had an open ending as life is open ended. Judging from her comments it can be concluded that there might not be any Season 2 of 'Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life'.
