Tekken Revolution News: Producer Responds to Criticisms Over Brawler's Mammary Metamorphosis

Teats and Tekken: Vampire Eliza's Inflated Rack Generates Response From Harada

There's something a bit "different" about Tekken Revolution's newcomer Eliza. Not the horns, we've seen that before. True, she's the first vampire in Tekken, but in a series rife with mechanized space ninjas, boxing kangaroos and dinosaurs, bears, a tiny farting dinosaur, cyborgs, robots, training dummies brought to life, demons, devils, ogres, and so on, tossing in a vampire is nothing special. What really stands out about Eliza is that she can't seem to decide what size bra she would wear.

Tekken fans that watched Eliza's recent trailer were caught off guard by the fighter's fluctuating funbags. Call them perverse if you like, but you didn't need to have super-vision to notice the jumbling differences between Eliza's opening and her victory pose, seen above.

One minute they're seemingly normal for an undead, blood-drinking woman of her frame, but the next, she's damn near ready to topple over. Fans were curious what was up with the busty brawler, besides...well...never mind that...so they went straight to the source.

According to a tweet from series director Katsuhiro Harada, the titty transformation is the result of, "a 「すげえおっぱい」" You might be more familiar with it as it's known in English, "Titty Twister."

As tends to happen, anything borderline related to anything sexual or that could be seen as misogynist typically doesn't go over too well, and thanks to social media, it's easy to hear everyone's opinion, be they valid and intelligent, or anything but. Breasts inflated for seemingly no reason tend to fall into the category of things labeled as sexist, and there's been something of a backlash over Revolution's Eliza, which Harada feels is absurd, given that she was voted by the community of Tekken fans and players.

He took to TwitLonger to share some of his thoughts:

"...Eliza is test case, Because Eliza is VOTE by PLAYERS for Revolution campaign.
and...At present, I do not accept the reaction of the player about her, Because She was elected by the player.
In this case, It is meaningless to express an opinion only to me.
I expect the argument in player communities more.
I think that this becomes a very interesting test case.
If someone says 'My opinion is right!' or "Tekken should be ..... ", I think this person has a simply narrow view.
TEKKEN is supported in much countries and culture.
I expect the reasonable argument by a player about player vote."

Harada eventually acknowledged that like the old adage goes, you can't make everyone happy, especially nowadays. In trying times, a nice stiff drink at the end of the day helps, according to Harada, who praised the virtues of that wondrous agave nectar: "tequila makes me happy."

Maybe Harada should call up Kojima for a drink, and the two can curse the gamer Gods over player protestation. Cheers, boys.
