Nintendo Switch Release Date, News & Updates: 'Dark Souls' Trilogy Coming To Switch? More Games Supported

Gamers are quite excited for the up and coming Nintendo Switch. There has been a lot of talks recently about this new console. Games eagerly anticipate the release of this product by Nintendo as its list of supported games is starting to grow.

Recently a set of new game titles has been confirmed for Nintendo Switch. However, the new games are not part of the March 2017 launch but will be available in the later version. As reported by Express, games such as "Seasons of Heaven," "Unreal Engine 4," and "Sacred Hero" are games confirmed for Switch on its 2018 release. There are also rumors that Pokemon Sun and Moon will be part of the game, and according to Eurogamer, it will be called "Pokemon Stars" and will be included in the 2017 release.

What is Nintendo Switch?

Over the past few months, Nintendo Switch gains a lot of speculations saying that it is a console or handheld hybrid. This turned out to be true when the introduction trailer came out. "Introducing Nintendo Switch! In addition to providing single and multiplayer thrills at home, the Nintendo Switch system also enables gamers to play the same title wherever, whenever and with whoever they choose," says Nintendo.

What is the secret feature?

New leak also suggests that Gamecube titles will also be playable in  Nintendo Switch. Rumor has it that the developer is working on bringing Gamecube version of "Super Mario Sunshine," "Animal Crossing," "Luigi's Mansion" and "Super Smash Bros."

A recent report also suggests that Nintendo Switch will support titles from the "Dark Souls" trilogy. If this is true, the games in line with PS4 and Xbox One can also be played with Switch. However, there is no confirmation yet regarding this matter.

Nintendo Switch has a scheduled date of release in March 2017. There is no word as to how much it will be, but many are saying that it could be expensive for a handheld device.
