‘Justice League’ Spoilers, News & Update: DC Adds Cyborg To Justice League As Founding Member Of Group

While speculation among movie fans is focused on who is the actor to play the Green Lantern with the scheduled release of the “Justice League” movie in 2017, a DC universe relaunch just happened recently. At the event, Cyborg was elevated to a top-tier Justice League status.

It means that Cyborg was recognized as a founding member of the Justice League, according to Inverse. His character would eventually show up in the DC Extended Universe and the upcoming animated series, “Justice League Action.” The new visibility of Cyborg was featured in a Cartoon network ad when he saves the day in “Teen Titans Go!”

Back Story Of Cyborg

Before Victor Stone became Cyborg, he was a football star in high school. However, there was an accident at the laboratory where his father works. The accident resulted in a critical injury on Victor Stone that his father had to use nano machines to rebuild his son who was gravely injured, and in the process, transforms Victor Stone into Cyborg.

Followers of Cyborg were no longer surprised by his appearance on a new animated Justice League series on the Cartoon Network, “Justice League Action,” since the pre-existing Cyborg has been on the network. Cyborg has acknowledged his presence on two different animated shows of DC, which are indicators he has become part of the big league of superheroes.

6th Member Of Justice League

Cyborg is now the sixth member of the Justice League, beside Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and The Flash. In the upcoming “Justice League” film, Bruce Wayne would seek the help of Diana Prince – his newfound ally – to battle a bigger foe, according to Comingsoon.net.

The two immediately find and recruit a team of metahumans, which includes Cyborg, to fight the newly awakened threat. However, it may be too late to save Earth from an impending assault said to be “of catastrophic proportions." To play Cyborg in the movie is Ray Fisher, while Jason Mamoa is Aquaman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Ezra Miller as The Flash.
