'Persona 5' Release Date, News & Update: New Powerful Character Introduced; What To Know About Haru

Atlus' "Persona 5" may have already been shipped off to its avid gamers in Japan but that doesn't stop the game developer along with Deep Silver from coming up with significant enticements, just more than enough really to lure more players from the West where it is slated to be released come April 2017.

New trailers for "Persona 5" have been popping up every now and then, appeasing its fans from North America and Europe to stick around as the video game is still yet to be launched. Along with these, various clips of the game have been shown and of course, the gamers' most awaited revelations — the new characters for the forthcoming iteration. The newest character from the trailer that has just been introduced to be joining Ryuji and Morgana is Haru.

Deemed to be the passionate member of the "Phantom of Thieves of Hearts," Haru Okumura is the eldest daughter of a rich businessman. Although she doesn't seem to be kind in her exterior, the newest persona to grace the video game is determined and fiery in her goals. Haru has grown with all the elegance and affluence someone could ever have and just like most melodramatic overtones there are in a life's story, these have cost the character her freedom. With this, her association to "Phantom Thieves" will definitely unshackle some of her inhibitions in "Persona 5." Miss Okumura is also codenamed Noir. She is portrayed to be a kind-hearted person whose one intention is to better the world and ensure that justice is served and will prevail as always.

Meanwhile, Atlus has also managed to conduct an interview with actress Xanthe Huynh, who will be voicing the newly introduced character Haru in "Persona 5." Here is a clip of the interview that transpired between Atlus and Huynh.

The upcoming role-playing video game "Persona 5" is slated to hit the shelves on April 2017 in North America and Europe. It will be launched to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
