'Star' Season 1 News, Spoilers & Update: 'Empire' Creator Lee Daniels' Newest Fiercest TV Series To Hit America

"Star" is the newest show in Fox inspired from Lee Daniels' American hit TV series "Empire" and much acclaimed film "Precious". This latest TV series is about the journey of three young girls who would do everything to become superstars. The setting of the show takes place in the famed city of Atlanta, which is the center of the music scene and where the lives of the characters will intertwine. This upcoming TV show's first half is made up of thirteen episodes. It has its own repertoire of original music and choreography.

Lee Daniels has chosen these three new lead casts of "Star".  Jude Demorest as Star Davis is Simone's determined sister who will do everything to become a famous singer. She will be forming the girl group and will lead them towards stardom. Brittany O'Grady as Simone Davis is Star's sister who she had promised to rescue from her abusive foster family. Also, Ryan Destiny as Alexandra Crane is the rich girl from New York. She would complete the trio group and will become a friend to Star and Simone.

Lee Daniels' has also enlisted some of his favorite artists for the "Star" casts. Queen Latifah as Carlotta Brown is Star's godmother, owner of the popular beauty salon and previous member of Harmony Mix. Lenny Kravitz as Roland Crane is the father of Alexandra Crane and a legendary rock star. Naomi Campbell as Rose Spencer is the mother of Alexandra Crane who thinks negatively of the people befriending her daughter. Other official supporting cast is Benjamin Bratt as Jahil Rivera is the former manager of Harmony Mix and soon-to-be manager of the trio group.

Moreover, Lee Daniels' new series "Star" speaks about the prevalent racism in America. The show will be premiered on Fox this Wednesday at 9 p.m. EST.
