'Rick and Morty' Season 3 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Harmon Lashes Out Frustration; Hotdog Man, Rick's Plan To Escape Prison?

The premiere of "Rick and Morty" Season 3 has now been notoriously delayed, owing to a rumored surprise release by the network. However, many fans are not delighted by this move, as well as show creator Dan Harmon, who took his anger on social media.

It has been promised before that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 will be returning before 2016 ends. With only about two weeks ahead, there still has not been any official word regarding the show's comeback.

Livid Harmon

The considerably long wait for "Rick and Morty" Season 3 has been settling on many fans and the production team alike. Some fans even go on to Twitter to vent out on Harmon, pressuring the showrunner into finishing the series instead of just lying around.

Harmon, who is clearly upset and frustrated after bearing the brunt of all the pressure, replied to the tweet. He then asked the Twitter user to layout in a flowchart how they think the television, animation, the internet, or anything works. His own disappointment with the lack of "Rick and Morty" Season 3 updates is clearly seeping through.

With the trademark humor of the show not meeting the standards set by the network, it has been reported that "Rick and Morty" Season 3 was delayed due to censorship. It was stated that the various edits to the dialogue and the storyline itself prolonged the production time, which eventually delayed the release of "Rick and Morty" Season 3.

Rick's Plans

While waiting for "Rick and Morty" Season 3, a monochromatic animated trailer has been released. This is said to be a part of Rick's effort to escape the intergalactic prison. He is then revealed to be the guy shaped like a hotdog, which he got after splicing himself with a hotdog. This could then lead to his ultimate escape out of prison in "Rick and Morty" Season 3

Rick also possess the elite portal gun, which would allow him to travel anywhere. With this, he cloned himself and sent a duplicate to each universe, who would then head toward a battle against the government in "Rick and Morty" Season 3.
