"Zoo" Season 3 will introduce a new cast to play as Jackson's new love interest. The instalment will start filming in January 2017.
According to TV Line, "Zoo" Season 3 is looking to cast several roles. One in particular is a female character who will portray Jackson Oz's (James Wolk) new girlfriend.
Character descriptions for Jackson's new love interest in "Zoo" Season 3 tease he ends up with another intelligent woman. His "future" girlfriend is described as a "deadly bi-racial operative" who has ties to "one of the heroes."
Perhaps she knows one of Jackson's friends, if the "heroes" referred to are those belonging to Jackson's team. The bi-racial description hints she could be friends with Abraham (Nonso Anozie) or Dariela Marzan (Alyssa Diaz). Other members of Jackson's team of heroes include Jamie Campbell (Kristen Connolly) and Mitch Morgan (Billy Burke).
Likewise, Jackson's new girlfriend supposedly looks an awful lot like someone he knows. Is his new love interest a doppelganger of his deceased girlfriend Chloe? (Nora Arnezeder). Perhaps "Zoo" Season 3 plan to recast Arnezeder to portray Chloe's twin sister.
Meanwhile, filming for "Zoo" Season 3 begins in January 2017. According to the Hollywood North Buzz, production will take place in Vancouver from Jan. 19 and expected to end on June 15. However, these dates are still subject to change.
"Zoo" Season 3 will reveal Mitch's whereabouts, ten years after Jackson's father sterilized humanity. The instalment takes off after Mitch's daughter Clementine (Gracie Dzienny), who is now all grown-up, told Abraham and Dariela that her father is alive. She also told them that she knows where he is.
It is likely that Clementine puts the team back together in "Zoo" Season 3 so they can rescue his father. Viewers initially thought that Mitch died in the Season 2 Finale. After all, no one would think that he survived the attack from the wolf-like beasts.
